What is HPC?

The abbreviation HPC stands for High Processing Computing (High Performance Computing) and refers to the process of the complex calculation of various data within a suitable computer network (= computer cluster).
The largest cluster on the HLRS bears the name “Hazelhen” and is with its 7.42 Petaflops in the world-wide comparison on place 8 the fastest computer.
